These are screenshots of a custom control panel for a scholarship series called “Visions and Voices.” This control panel needed to be often accessed by many administrators at once. This scholarship campaign was nurtured over a period of just under a year through email, print and social media efforts, culminating in a scholarship contest and art exhibition/event.
Administrators needed a very user-friendly control panel that performed a variety of functions. Admins needed to be able to search entries with or without the use of filters, download entry data (all or queried) in mail merge and excel format, edit entries, delete entries, restore deleted entries, export data formatted for print as vouchers (for events), count of all active entries.
The second screenshot is an example of an email bounceback, thanking the user for their entry, showing them a picture of the work they submitted and indicating that they need to print out the label and attach it to their artwork, when they bring it to campus. The front end of the process involved the creation of a process whereby the user could validate that they had submitted an entry, resubmit an updated entry before a deadline if they chose to, and request an additional printable label for their submission.
